Supported housing & community groups

Gentle practice where people live

Qigong works beautifully in supported housing, care settings and community groups — no mats, no special clothing, and no need to stand for long. Movements can be done seated or standing, making the benefits accessible to residents with a wide range of mobility, energy and experience.

Sessions help reduce stiffness, lift mood, improve sleep and create a calm, connected atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Trusted by the care sector

Claudia created video training resources to help activities coordinators in300 care homesrun basic chair qigong sessions with residents.

"Claudia provided outstanding physical activity resources for older adult Qi Gong inspired movements for health and wellbeing. The content was well planned, provided with easy to follow and understand descriptions so that they could be translated to a format for training staff in the care sector."
Ben — CEO, Good Boost
"We would thoroughly recommend working with Claudia. Her Qigong sessions have been popular with residents and staff. She's a great teacher — calm, focused, with a gentle sense of humour, and is able to tailor her sessions with understanding and kindness. Here at Brighton Housing Trust's Shore House we have many residents dealing with serious mental health diagnoses, as well as histories of addiction and trauma. They have all reported a sense of increased wellbeing and resilience following qigong sessions with Claudia. We're proud to work with her, and look forward to working with her on an ongoing basis."

"Claudia taught some Qigong classes at our befriending group. She adapted the classes to suit the participants (most of which were over 70 years old). She has a calm and warm energy and we all felt like we were in safe hands. Qigong was new to my group, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed it."

What participants say

“Attending Claudia's qigong class is an absolute treat for the mind, body and spirit. She holds space beautifully with lovely visualisations and breathing whilst encouraging movement to the best of everyone's abilities. I've been to many different types of classes and Claudia's is by far the best — so welcoming, and I leave feeling blissed out.”
